Since implementing Uptick's fire safety inspection software, Adept Fire has hired seven times more techs and rapidly grown their business. We caught with brothers Adam and Tayleb Hassan to learn how Uptick is paying off across the business from field operations to customer service.
Adept Fire is a family-owned business based in Sydney that has been experiencing rapid growth, much of which they attribute to Uptick's fire inspection software. This team manages everything from the installation of fire systems—such as sprinklers, fire doors, and alarms—to their ongoing maintenance.
Uptick began making a significant impact on Adept Fire right away. Director Adam Hassan shared that the fire safety management software streamlined their operations, enabling them to transition seamlessly from on-site assessments to quoting and repairs. They have also built trust with clients by providing real-time data and photos of any issues discovered during inspections.
"Uptick has really improved our workflow. It has allowed us to provide what we believe is an excellent service, deliver reports and quotes quickly, and act on repairs promptly. We think this efficiency is a key factor in our rapid growth," Adam said.
Adopting new technology can often be challenging, but Director Tayleb Hassan noted that Uptick made the transition easy.
"The onboarding manager from Uptick was really helpful. They were always available for questions, and it was just a case of us using it to get to know the program," he explained.
Adept Fire has expanded quickly, growing from just two technicians to 15. Adam pointed out that Uptick has facilitated this growth by simplifying scheduling and training, even for those new to the industry.
"Our company has gone through rapid growth, and with Uptick's help, we’ve easily scheduled new hires and made it simple for them to learn the software we use for inspections," he noted.
"We have many younger technicians who are new to the industry. So it's great having such an easy program while they're learning the actual industry as well.”
An important highlight is the improvement in client communication. Tayleb shares how Uptick allows them to provide clear, detailed reports and keeps clients informed throughout the process.
Tayleb commented, "With Uptick, our clients can see when we were on-site and access photos and real-time data about their assets. Any defects that arise are illustrated with photos that document the issue, helping us build trust with our clients. The whole process has become much smoother."
